Overview

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II is a role-playing game in Falcom's long-running Legend of Heroes franchise that serves as a direct sequel to the first Trails of Cold Steel. The game was released in Japan on September 25, 2014 for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. XSEED localized both versions of Trails of Cold Steel II for North America and released them on September 6, 2016. NIS America later published the title in Europe on November 11, 2016. A PC version was eventually created by XSEED on February 14, 2018 featuring many quality of life improvements, over 5,000 additional lines of voice acting, and many graphical improvements. A PlayStation 4 port outsourced by Falcom to Artdink was also released in Japan in 2018 and was published again by XSEED in the West in 2019, featuring many of the improvements seen in the PC release along with dual-audio support.
