Shogun, the evil leader of the Ninja clan, has stolen the most precious artifact from the Kingdom of Elves, Arkista's ring. Without the ring, the Kingdom of Elves is plunged into despair and darkness.
Among the elves is a warrior named Christine. Rather than sit around waiting for the council to come to a decision about what to do about all of the disasters that have followed the theft of the ring, Christine sets out to steal the ring back herself.
Armed with nothing but a bow and a few tools she was able to acquire, she sets off on her foolhardy quest to restore her home to its former glory.
The overall gameplay of Arkista's Ring is an overhead, 2D action game. The objective of the game is to move the character to defeat the various monsters that travel around the level in order to make it to the exit.
Upon defeating every monster that is roaming the screen, a key appears to be collected and used to unlock the exit. With every level that is completed, the number and difficulty of the monsters onscreen increases. But, there are ways to aid the player.
Various powerups and tools can be used to upgrade the player character so that they can carry more items, gain more health, get better armor, deal more damage and fire arrows further.
Christine: The character who you play as. Christine is an elf from the Kingdom of Elves, who has taken it upon herself to take back what rightfully belongs to her people.
